I am about to do a good tuneup and preventive maintence on a mf 20 I just bought(ser#9A68237).The tractor has a 3 cyl perkins gas motor. All I seem to be able to find info on is the 4cyl contential motors or 3 cyl diesel. I need to know what plug to use, point gap(delco dist.)Valve settings for intake and exhaust and hot or cold. Ive got 8 acres of tall grass and hope to mow as soon as possible. Thanks

The AG3-152 gas Perkins engine had 3 different length of reach on the plugs it goes by the engine serial number. You need to remove them & get plugs that have the same reach. The points set on .021 the plugs set on .025 the valves set on intake .012 Hot .014 cold the exhaust set on 15 hot & 17 cold. the timing is 12 degrees BTC at 750 RPMs & should be 26 degrees BTC at 2250 RPMs.
