I think the red beast in the yard is a MH 1945 101 series model...but I cannot confirm using any of the following ID numbers taken from several of its body parts...looking for tractor savvy folks who might know...the #s are 9118A, 6143A, and 7389A...it has a B where Reverse might be...6 cyl. Thanks in advance for your help.

You probably have a 101 or 102 Senior MH from that era if it is a flathead. Those numbers you found are probably casting numbers in the cast iron parts. The serial number is on a tin oval plate on the tractor's left side but it is obviously missing. It is also hand-stamped into the upper machined surface of the transmission/differential case on the left side near the clutch pedal (between that shifting platform and the plate covering the rear end gears). It will take some wire brushing to find it and it will be there, probably covered with grime and paint. Probably not too deeply stamped so you'll have to look hard for it, then post the number here and someone will ID it for sure as to it's model and year.
