let me know, i have mh 44 gas h260 with 18.4x38 tires.. no water ballast.. have one wheel weight on each side..also has high arch wide front... think i have just enough power to keep pulling in class 5500??and maybe in class 6500 too??? just let me know if i have enough power or not .. it could be h260 or h277 so either.. enough power to keep tires turning? not making my tiny motor being underpowered most of time?? i hope it can go up in air and keep pulling! thats all i care.. dont wanna get embarrassed not pulling over 50 feet haha.. just let me know can it pull far enough?? thanks and appricate all advices.. i know i asked same questions before.. but this is simple question.. can it or not? 2 more weeks to go and time for pulling! also my mh 44 picture is in tractor picture so take a look at it and let me know if that ole mh 44 can do the job or not..

thanks again shannon

everyone, thanks for the advices.. i sure wished i had some like new or real good 14.9x38 tires but i have nothing but worn out 13.9x38 tires and i ended up buying those 18.4x38 for like 100 bucks it was sweet deal now i see what happens not enough weight and it wont pull right.. and put full weight in tires and it would make mine go underpowered and wont do the job.. i guess i ll have to just go try it out and see what happens at pulling show.. just have to cross my fingers and hope i can make it just good enough.. i ll have to go look around for 16x38 almost new tires next time.. got new wife and u know the rest of story.. cant spend lots of money...

thanks much! shannon

hey shannon you still have them old tires around?
if you do they might just be what you are looking for, some times the best tires for pulling are the ones that are realy wore out, the realy hard pack tracts will do that. and dont the other two tractors have tires on rims that you could switch????

here agin, your tires are going to be to big, becuase of the way they disperse the wieght over a larger area you will not dig in well with the amount of wieght that you have, i would swap tires off one of your other 44s. also because of the size of the tire you are looseing HP. for a tractor of this size the best tire size for pulling is going to be under 14X38. i would say that if you have a pair of 13.6X38's laying around you would do good to put them on. the bigger tires are going to make you power out way to soon.

I agree with STEVEN H, Those tires are big enough for a hundred HP tractor.
