Replace brakes/rear axle om MF35 with MF165 ones

Is it possible to replace the rear axle on the MF35 (with differential lock) with the rear axle from the 165? The aim is to get the WET disk brakes. Are the 165 equiped with a reduction gear in the axles?

You can change from the back of transmission back pretty easily if both pumps have the same number of splines. The MF165 does have a reduction planetary on the outer end of the axle. Only the real late MF165 will have wet brakes. & the pump splines will be different on those with wet brakes. You would have to use the pump & PTO shaft from the MF35.
