is a hydraulic pump for a massey harris 33 and a massey 44 interchangable numbers on 33 2hc1a-4 numbers on 44 2hc1-4. Another question what does A=.

I have a Massey 33 that had a H260 engine installed in 1955. The original 33 pump was used and seemes to have bolted right up to the new engine. The main difference that I noticed was the placement of the high pressure line. It goes over the bell housing instead of under it like on the 44. Hope this helps.

i have changed them but i think there is a spacer from 44 to 33 but to be honest i can't remember for sure about the spacer it's been a long time ago. best way is count the teeth on the gear and check the depth of gear
