Tommorrow I'm going to look at a MF135, gas, suppose to be vintage 1972, with a cont. 4 cycl. engine. The owner tells me it does not have powersteering, never did. I thought powersteering was standard on all 135's, and that gas 135's had the 3cycl. perkins gas engine. I'm also looking for the weight of the 135. Any help much appreciated.

135's had atleast 3 different engines, 4 cyl Continental gas, 3cyl Perkins gas, and 3 cyl Perkins Deisel. Not all had power steering, but it is a nice feature. As far as weight, your guess is as good as mine.

I think all the gas 135's are 4 clylinder. My diesel is 3,and I now for a fact that not all came with power steering.Again, you also should get in touch with Big Dean.I got a new computer and have lost the address to his home page. It's hard to beat a Massey!

Thanks for the replies, I've got a diesel 135 also and I really like it. This gas tractor is for a friend. I have an original operator/owner manual and can't find the weight anywhere in the specifications.
