I have a MF 98 and am wondering if it has the same drive train as the Oliver super 99? Are parts hard to find for either of these tractors? Does the sheet metal for the MF 97 fit the MF 98? I am looking for any parts that might fit this tractor and would appreciate any help or comments. Are there any established dealers with old parts in their archives? Thanks for any information offered. Looking for MF organizations also.

Sounds like the lever and control synchronization adjustment needs to be made. Its covered in the I&T manual, first step in hydraulics diagnosis.

If you haven't changed the hydraulic and transmission oil you should next and clean or change the hydraulic filter.

Roger: Same as Oliver 990 with slightly different sheet metal. An MF 97 or 95 is a Minneapolis Moline and like the rest of that noble breed are LONG 6 cylinder tractors. You will really have to look because one of my references says that Oliver only built 500 98's for MF. I don't know if that's accurate. Tom

Dan Look at the rear planitary gear seals for oil leakage. I have ran/owned a 1080,1130,1155 and each have their good and bad points. email me if you have a specific question. Good Luck
