This tractor says "Ferguson 35" on the hood, is red with a yellow grill, gray engine and drivetrain. Serial number: 7134 (spaces) then 624300. Plate says Massey Harris Ferguson, Racine, WI. Has a Continental OHV engine.

I want to buy this sweet running baby from the original Missouri owner but will have to sell my MH Pony in order to do it. Bummer!

Jack, There was a time frame in 1957 when some TO-35's were all Beige. Mine is. No red, no green, no gray, you get the picture, and yes, they are sweet runn'n rigs. I'll tell ya, I do not abuse my tractor in anyway, shape or form, but she treats me better than I do her. Starts everytime I push the switch! In fact if I can find a Bk/hoe for it someday I will put it in my will that she dig, lower, and bury me!!!! (glad I aint look'n for a Bk/hoe anytime soon!) HA HA HA Hey, good luck with the purchasing in Mo. Steve

Based on the engine SN you provided, I believe yours is a 1955 Ferguson TO-35. It's original colors would have been gray sheet metal with dark, metallic green castings. Many of these tractors were repainted later to make them appear to be newer. From the spring of 1956 until December of 1957, this model was painted beige/flint gray. From then on they had red/flint gray colors.

The 35 was one of the finest tractors ever built. Even today the MF 200 series of tractors is bsed on the venerable 35. It will vastly outperform your Pony, as dearly as you may love it.

1955-1957 When harry Feuson merged his company into Massey-Harris in 1953, the Ferguson TO-35 was already in the works. Under Massey-Harris-Ferguson, new sheet metal and a red-and gray paint job were added in 1955, makjing it the MF-35.
