Had carb kit installed but still leaks while setting plus now it runs lean at high idle. Have to run a little choke at high idle. How do I adjust this problem? It will idle great.

Check your butterfly float, make sure it is not hitting on the side of the carb bowl if it is bend it so it clears everything. Then reset the float level.I had the same problems, either flooding or run lean when it wouldn't drop open.

hope this helps John

I have had the same troubles many times. I just kept messing with it and got it right one day. Mine still likes to leak after a while of sitting. I just shut my fuel off and let it run out after parking it. If I would let it sit over night with the gas on it would not want to start. I had to pull it around for a half hour(no joke) untill it started one day. Do you have a good gasket between the carb and manifold? I thought I did too, untill I put a little bit thicker gasket that I made on there and it helped alot. I know I am not much of help, but its a crazy thing you just got to keep tinkering with. I wish you the best of luck!
