How bad is it burnt? tires, wiring harness, all the paint, how long did it burn? Will it turn over,is it froze up? If the wiring harness is not burnt, did you ever try starting it? How long has it been setting out side and how long ago did it burn? Does this have 3 point hitch or hydraulic system? Power steering? live pto? heavy cast wheels back and front? what year? $ 750 CANADIAN sounds steep if all burnt to a crisp and nothing unique about it,such as those options above. I would have to see in person or alot of pictures to say what i would pay, even for the parts or try to restore this machine.

This MH44-D got hot in a fuel up fire.It still has oil in the engine, trans and rear end. There is a little paint left on in spots. Some tin is usuable but very rusty.I think a lot of the drive train parts and engine would be useful and for the price you can't beat it for a parts machine.

sorry les, that is a shame that the tractor burned up on ya. fire tractors arnt worth a pile of horse apples most the time, and mostlikely this one is the same, i think i will pass.

Got this advice from an old timer, many years ago:
If the tractor was in a shed that burned, there were usable parts, unless a two story barn fell on
it, burned to the ground. Tractors that caught on fire, take too much heat, parts value is minimal.
This information has served me well, bad paint is
a temporary stage, a well-cooked hulk is best to
'pass'.
