I have a Ferguson TO-35 ser. 199xxx (1959)
Why is there four studs that protrude toward the front on the left axle trumpet and none on the right side ?? They are cast into the trumpet. Could it be a mount for a mid mount implement or is it a replacement trumpet off another model, possibly something industrial ? Thanks for any info..

The first diesel versions of these tractors required two batteries. One was located under the bonnet as normal, and the other was carried on a tray fixed to rear axle, to the left of the seat, by these four bolts.
