I have never saw one on a 265. check to see if the foot area and the engine attachment are the same as a MF 50A or 50C. I would think that they would work for you.

I am suprised that it is not standard equipment. Here in UK I remember the old 100 series tractors ( 135,148,165,168 185,188 etc. ) had them fitted as standard.

I think it is a case of different specs for different countries. I know the MF's we bought all came with foot throttles, whether we wanted them or not! I went around the IH plant in Doncaster a few years ago, and the tractors intended for the N. American market looked quite different to ours, even though they shared the same model numbers (different position of headlights, different interiors etc).

Roy,sorry to be a smart-***, but, like you I thought they were standard until I bought a brochure dating back to the 100 series launch where it lists the foot throttle as an optional extra, indeed I was at the Fife Vintage rally at Strathmiglo 3 weeks ago and saw a lovely 135 with red wheel centres and no foot throttle.
They may have become standard later, but not at the launch.
Happy Tractoring, Ali.

As far as 165 tractors are concerned the MK1 came with optional foot throtle ( 65-67 ) thereafter it was standard on the MK2 (67-71) and MK3 (71-76)
The red wheel centres being phased out in Spring 67 and MK2 being introduced in December 67 with Perkins A4.212 motor.

No prob Ali, but I know we bought a new 135 in about 1965 with red wheel centres, but with square fenders, I know the very first few built had shell fenders like a 35X. ( I know it was 'C' reg.) and it had a foot throttle already fitted, so it must have been standard equipment quite early in the production run.
