trying to make one running Massey Harris. I just agreed to buy a MH 44 and was wandering if many of the parts interchange with the 30. I figure the engine is different, but not sure of any of the other parts. I havn't seen the 44 yet (just pictures).

When you stay with same style, Row Crop, or Standard, the basic transmission case is helpful,
vintage '47-'52. Many hydraulic parts('50-'52)
same. The differences come in a longer U-frame on
the 44, 23 verses 19(?) gallon gas tank, 16"
front wheels, larger radiator & hydraulic tank.
Sheet metal: 6 rib grill(30),7 rib grill(44),
The 30 hood has a lower skirt(similar appearance to 44-6, 444, but NOT the same). Rear hitch &
operator's station-the same. Rear rims 2" wider.
For more, you need to attach e mail, for photo
view. Best to know the good parts, before buying.
Good luck. We're still here...
