What is a MF model B40 like ?

My brother just bought and industrial MF model B40 at an auction complete with joy stick loader and cab. It did not come with any manual. Does anyone know which Ag model would be similar ? It appears to be 1970ish.
He is having trouble figuring out the transmission shifting. He say it has a shuttle pedal setup and two gear shifts, the right one marked H-S-L and the left one unmarked which only seems to have two positions fore and aft. How many speeds does this have ?

The MF40B was built from 1976 to 1982 they only have two gears in the main transmission & the high low which gives them 4 forward & 4 reverse gears the transmission is called an Instant Reverse on the MF40B If I can be of further help Email me
