i am in need of some major help here guys. it seems that the other night i gone done meesed up and kicked over a bucket of carb parts for my MH 44 and well i stepped down and crushed my float. i have been runing raged trying to get a new one just to find that there apears to not be any made any more, i am runing low on places to run to and figured that i would run here before i got to far. i know that some one here gave me a spot once before to look for some other part but i cant remeber who or where i was to go. if any one here has a place that they think, or know that i can get one, or happen to have one that they would part with i would be most greatfull.

This may sound kind of far out, but I have actually done this with a smashed float. If you can't find a replacement and the float bulbs are not torn to bits, very carefully drill a 1/16 hole through the bulb. With a rubber tipped blow gun, inflate the float very carefully until it is back to it's original shape. Solder the hole shut and then straighten the float arms with two pair of needle nose pliers. If the float is not completely destroyed, this may work.

Have you tried a Temco store? If they can't get a new one there are plenty of boneyards around parting out tractors that should be able to help. Good luck, I'd cry if I did that to my 44.
