I just bought the tractor yesterday and when I got it home I couldn't find the control valve to operate the hyd system.I checked on the pump and followed both lines to the back of the tractor [which are coupled together]and there isn't anything that even resembles a control valve. Where would it be or have been? I don't have a problem putting one on it but I would like to know where it was. Thank you for any info I can get. Les.

Should be a mounted hydraulic cylinder under the
seat assembly. A valve body is built into the cylinder. 30's with factory central hydraulics have the throttle lever, mounted down by the dash panel(1950-52). A flat stock, 3 piece welded
bracket is bolted to the right edge of the tranny
case. If confusing, perhaps you could post a photo
of the operator's station, for review. These parts
are the same on '50-'53 44's. Good luck.
