Pony Generator?

Anyone know where to get a good rebult generator for a Pony.....or better yet, if I switch to 12 volt....what about the starter? Will it travel backwards or do I stay with 6v, or stay with pos ground. Anyone??

You should be able to have the generator rebuilt at any good shop. Suggest switching to an 8-volt battery with same ground you have now. Will not require any any other modifications. I had mine rebuilt ten years ago and switched to an 8-volt battery at the suggestion of one of my old farm boy mechanics. Has worked great ever since.
