does anyone know how to check out A IPTO Clutch. I have the tractor split for a hydrolic pump issue and want to ckeck the IPTO Clutch before puting every thing back. The housing has some scoring on the outside looks like it was caused by what looks like the brake. any information would be helpful.

Replace my IPTO two years ago. Best time for you to do it is when you already have the tractor split and the hyd pump removed. I have some pictures if you want them emailed.

Lee did you buy a new IPTO Clutch or rebuild your old one. Where did you get parts. I already have the old one out just need to find out where to get one from and cost. did yours quite working completely. What was the signs it was bad. Thanks Troy

I had to replace the whole thing. The IPTO hub on mine blew out the snap ring groove that holds the whole thing together. I got a used hub from a salvage yard and bought new clutches, friction disc, teflon sealing rings and new steel plates. The hub was $400 used, the rest of the parts cost someway in the neighborhood of $300. Got the new parts from the local dealer.
