We have a Massey Pony that we use to pull small boats up an incline on a sandy beach. The tractor is up to the job but occasionaly will bury its rear wheels. It seems that wider tires both front and rear might solve the problem. What wider tire/rim combination would fit this tractor? Other ideas?

The rears on a Pony are about 8.3x24's. If a welder cut the rims and made them 2" wider, it may
help. You would want to price replacement tires,
rim width requirements. There may be interchange
on rims from a larger model, like a 22, or older
81. Labor, tires & rims could get costly. What
will you do with your current wheels, store them?
Perhaps you should consider a Pacer, more power to
pull the boats with. Good luck.
