I have a TO-30 runs good until it gets hot then
stops. Starts back up but only a few minutes and stop again. The gas line is only 1/8" from manifold. Could this make it a vapor lock? If you
Can think of anything please help. Thank You !!!

Not likely vapor lock. Gas being all gravity to carb, vapor lock is pretty rare. More likely one of three things: one of the fuel filters is partially stopped up and lets gas thru slowly so the tractor will start when it has time to dribble to the carb, but won't keep running; or the coil is bad; or the condensor is bad. A possibility also is the key switch gets hot and is bad. You can jump around the switch to check that. Coil and condensor are difficult to test. Condensor is cheap and you might replace it before the coil for that reason. Filter at top of the sediment bowl, in the tank, is a prime suspect. Remove line from carb and see if it flow strong for a minute or so (into clean bucket). Of course, the carb float could be the problem, but my experience is one of the other things is more likely, unless you've been messing with the carb. Let us know what you find.

Thank you for the note Phil. I changed the gas checked all filters. air, gas, and oil. All ok
Changed the points conensor and coil. I have not checked the switch . I would not mess with the carb but could that be bad? It is not any better.
