My father in law has a 1937 challenger. He has been working on rebuilding the engine, but has run into a snag. The magneto rotor has one side broken off and he can't set the timing properly.

Any ideas on how to replace or repair the rotor?
I would love to see this working soon as his health is failing. The tractor was the first owned by his father.

Please help.

Thanks, Dave Mullins

I can't get make and model on this magneto as the plate is missing, or unreadable. Does anyone have an old parts list for these tractors which might give me info on this part? Thx, Dave Mullins

They routinely sell parts list on Ebay at Massey Harris, they start at $9.95. this book is for Challenger and the 25. I don't know if this information is in the manual or not.I hope this helps out.
