FE35 hydraulic pump

Repair kits are available for MF35 but I suspect they will not suit my FE35 and wonder if anyone has personal experience of this and can confirm this for sure one way or other. Reason for my suspicions is that pump kit on Vapormatic website indicates it suits from serial no 65685 onwards. Mine is before this. Pump on mine doesn't have filter on oil inlet and later ones do. I wonder if anyone knows what other differences there are and whether later type pump could be fitted to FE35. Looks like I'm going to be finding out about this one way or another as my pump will barely lift when revving hard and the links drop if I throttle engine back. Pretty sure it isn't relief valve or cylinder cos I see no oil coming from them with side cover off so I reckon pump isn't pumping. As is mainly just a show tractor it isn't a big problem but I would like to fix it sometime.

could be oring or standpipe leaking you really have to take it apart to see what is going on

No internal leaks so far as I can see. I've had cover off and there's no oil spray, drips or disturbance anywhere so I reckon there is no pressure. Had a look at Bareco site but their pump is of type with filter on it so don't know i it will fit. I'll post the answers when I take it to bits and find out what needs done and what fits. It will be winter before I do it though

It has good diagrams and repair parts and kits for the various Ferguson models, including hydrolics.
