MF 50 Thermostat question

I have a MF 50 gas (Z134 Continental motor). It boiled over while plowing snow on the weekend and I changed the thermostat with one the MF dealer told me was the correct replacement. It works fine but I noticed when I put in the new thermostat that it is marked 160 degrees and the old one is marked 140 degrees. Will this cause me any problems, especially in the summer? I have heard that the worst thing you can do with an old motor is run them too hot.

When I first got our MH50 with the Z134, the thermostat was stuck open and it never did get to temperature. When I stuck a Central Tractor one in, and it seems like it was 160 or better, it worked fine. Overheating has not been a problem.

What was a problem was the radiator getting crudded up. I took it to a radiator shop and got it rebuilt and it's been fine ever since. Also went through changing the water pump later, but again, overheating has never been a problem. And that's with various haying operations when the temperature was well over 90 F.
