there are two #27 combines down the road from my huse that i was interested in a while back and had permisstion to pull them out at one time but he got made that i was takeing so long on it. seems that i did not want to get killed in the bard that fell on them. what i want to know here is, what motor was/ is in them. they apeared to be inline fours and flat heads. i am thinking that imight have use for them.the combines arein poor shape so i don't care abought that, the motors are what i am after now.

44-6 uses a continental 226 and the combine uses a chrysler. You would need some of those off set bolts to make a this simple job. I am out of them.

No they won't "bolt Up" The 44 is a continental engine. The 101 and 201 types used Chryslers. 'Course you can put anything in anything if you have a big enough hammer.

As far as I know the 44-6 is a continental. Basically the 203 engine.

Steven

THe MH 27 should have a Chrysler industrial flat head 6 cylinder. Model 8A 251 cubic inch engine.
