I just got in from an auction of a MF35 Deluxe 3cyl diesel. The thing is missing the head and pistons and conecting rods. I do mean MISSING, GONE, NOT THERE. The sheet metal was very nice and the rubber was 70% or so. It sold for $1700 not counting the 10% buyer premium. I just had no idea they were this valuable.

Its some sort of preverted auction law/rule of thumb. Whatever you are looking for, say a MF35, will always go for thousands more than you can imagine at every auction you attend; the first auction you miss with a MF35 listed in it will have the tractor, barn kept all its life, with only 600 hours on it, 90% rubber, with a bushog sold with it go for $635.

Thats why I bought my Standard Engined MF35.
I really wanted a 35X, but like I could afford one!

Don't know if it happened in the US, but apparently alot of these tractors here in the UK got exported to developing countries after getting traded in by their original owners.

So they're rare where they were around every corner once.

Ho hum,

Chris
