Have MF35 with Perkins engine - great tractor except no power steering - I know there was a factory option then - Anybody know of any way to rig power steering on a 35 - I'd appreciate info -

Yes,with a wide ft you can use truck type gear box. Look for a good open spot and pick a gear box with verticle mount, so that the pitman arm swings left to right. You need a long pitman because of the turning radius on the tractor. On the high pressure hydralic pump side install a adjustable piority valve to cut flow to the 3/8 tubing going to the gear box. Now we need a short jack shaft and two pillow blocks to couple the stock steering shaft to the power gear box. I used #35 chain spockets and chain. Don't for get to pull the worm out of the stock gear box or it will fight each other. Put your spinner knob and go. Let me know if this something you want to get into Bill
