OK now, I know that this topic is a tired one. But I have made a desission!!! I am going with the "Big Dean" recomedned Massey 1103 90wt mineral oil (contrary to the manual which suggests 90w gear oil). Terrific, but is their a place to buy it (or get the same formula) for less that a Massey Dealership??? They want almost 30 dollars for 2 and a half gallons. For my tractor, I would need to purchace 3 of these.....Almost a 100 bucks!!!Any ideas???
TIA and if you could reply here that would be great. My e-mail is not set up yet.
Rick

Lubrication fluids is not the place to try to save a nickel; then cry at the future repair bills. 1. Get the manuals for your tractor 2. Read the specification number in the manuals 3. Buy name brand fluid that meets that exact specification. Cheapest move you will ever make in the long run.
