I'm looking for a "hot" spark plug to replace the Champion D16 plugs currently in a '55 MF TO-35 (gas). Any suggestions? The tractor burns some oil and fouls the existing plugs but the budget doesn't permit an overhaul before winter at the soonest. Thank you in advance.

The book I got says to use D21 and for heavy duty service use UD16 , dont know if that is for the oil burner by the book . I got a oil burner and the UD16 seems better than the D21 but still have to change them once in a while . If ya find a good one post it . C87 is your AC no.

TGIN,

Thank you for taking the time to look up the information and send it along. I'll purchase a set of D21 plugs in the morning. If that doesn't work I'll step up to the UD16. I don't know whether AC is better than Champion, probably one of those "less filling - taste great" discussions; however, its good to know the C87 designator. Again, thank you.
