I am looing to buy a MF 35 diesel deluxe at auction this w/e. I have found out the tractor has been split to begin an overhaul that wasn't completed. I am wondering if I can simply slide the two halves back together and transport it that way. Any ideas ??? Also I am wondering what I should expect to pay for a beast in this condition, it has been disassembled to the point of pistons have been removed, and the trans and engine have been seperated. All help will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know about the hauling question but my concern would be if all the parts that were removed had been packed for the sale. I would hate to pay say $1,000 and then later find that some costly parts are not there. If you have several Massey dealers near by at least you could get parts without too much of a hassle but they would/could be expensive. I wish you luck.
