I have a 165 gas burner, it has developed a miss. I have changed plugs, points, wires, coil and rebuilt carb. The thing that gets me is it doesn't miss all the time. It doesn't matter if it is cold or hot, just cranked up or ran a while. I need some help here.

I sure sounds to me like its a spark plug problem. Try some older cheap plugs. The fancy new ones are prone to being bad.(Same thing happened to me)
