I have a Massey with the identification tag letters worn off but the stamped numbers are I244G and 2100.

I assume this is a I244 which was made for the Airforce. It has a 6-cyl gas engine (which is missing the tag). It also does have PTO.

Any info what so ever is appreciated. I especially would like to get hold of manuals for it.

Thanks

i also have an I244G s/n 2120. Would like to share info - pictures. Mine has Teledyne-Continental F245 motor which I believe is incorrect. I believe it should be Continental 244 or F244 derived from the F226 used in earlier MH 44-6. Possible that motor has both a serial number plate riveted on like tractor - possible with Mil-spec and patent numbers as well as displacement and other info in addition to a steel stamp into block like most other Continental MH motors - most likely on rear face or on block in flat rectangle just below head. Understand most if not all of the I244G's were modified for USAF by Sager or Sanger Magnetics to include magnetic sweep. Cowl is marked in raised letters Continental (not Massey) and on sides RED SEAL in raised letters. Also grill has 3 (not 2) rows.
