Tires for MF 35

The tires on my Massey Ferguson 35 are perished and need replacing. As I only use this tractor with a finishing mower what is the advisability of putting Turf Tires on the tractor. It seems that tractor tires are very expensive. Anyone have any suggestions for a cheap source?

Are these rears or front's? if fronts, you could probably use implement tires, as they don't have as deep and few of ribs as a front tractor, and won't make such lumpy ruts in wet areas. For rears, try a bone yard, or call a tire dealer about getting a set of good used tires. Also the turf tires won't dig in wet soil as bad as an ag tire. If it has fluid in the rears now, and you mow fairly flat ground, you could have the fluid removed and possibly sell it back to the tire service, if it's calcium chloride. Goodluck
