I have just bought a MF 130 and was wandering if the tinwork and grilles are the same on all 100 series tractors. And also whether it has the same engine fitted as the 135? (its a 4 cylinder diesel) or if not is it the same as any other or is it only for the 130?
And where Can I get parts for the Tractor and further info?
Thanks
Shaun

The MF25, 30 & 130 were all French. Mechanically I believe they were similar with the 4.107 Perkins etc.
Manuals are still available for them also.
Hope this helps. Manuel

Shaun, the MF 130 was built in France with a Perkins 4.107 engine, which I think was only used in this tractor or possibly some small combines, it may also have been used in Bedford vans but I can't be sure.As for tinwork or parts I can't comment on U.S. spec tractors.
Good luck, Ali.

Shaun, I just came upon this website about a year after your original posting. I too have a Massey 130. Pretty much everything on this tractor is unique to the 130. My understanding is that this tractor was never meant to be sold in the states and that parts were hard to find when it was new, here we are 30 years later! Don't know what your plans are for the tractor but if you decide to sell it please contact me. Good Luck, Alex

I saw a 130 for sale near Guelph Ontario on Saturday 5 Aug 2006. I stopped and photographed it as I own a 135 and was intrigued. He was asking $3,000 (Can). It is fully functioning as far as I could see (he ws using it, and the 3pt worked) but smoked rather badly and was a little rusted - nothing serious.

To get there from Guelph go North on Hwy 6, Left on the Elora Road (Wellington 7) then right on Nichol concession 8 then it is abuout 1/2kM on the left.
