Hi there, I have a problem when refilling the 22.8 Litre Transmission on my TEA 20, when the level gets to 12 Litres the oil drips out a hole close to the flywheel(clutch?)on the underside of the housing. Is there anything I can do, block the hole?(was told not to).Does it mean there is a leak from the transmission into the clutch housing?I am using 20-40W oil in the trans. Also, where is the Serial Number on a TEA 20 to tell its age?
Also the clutch grabs a bit too and slips under strong load.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

DO NOT block the hole if you do you will flood the bell housing with oil and your clutch will get oil on it. you have a seal out on the trans. side and you have to split the tractor and as long as you have it split do the crank shaft seal also.not sure what country your in but why are you useing 20-40 in the trans????should be 90wt.mineral oil or GL-1 mineral oil.just asking?
