Hello, My Massey has started running rough and after about an hour or so it starts chugging real hard and can barely make it up a small incline.
I noticed two wide streaks of oil down the side of the engine from the head. I'm thinking it looks like a headgasket problem that gets worse the warmer the engine gets and causes the power loss.
Any thoughts..... .
Thanks Mark

well the head gasket is blown, and needs to be replaced. that is the reason for most of the noise. noe the reason that it wount make it up a small hill is you are low on oil and the motor has heated up expanding sapping your hp. put in fresh oil drive it in the pole barn or what ever you have and fix the head gasket.
