A friend of a friend just lost her husband suddenly, who left behind a Massey Ferguson. I have not seen the tractor and am not a Massey guy but this is the description I have gotten of the tractor. 1960-61 model diesel wide front with 944.5 hours on the meter and a grader blade here in middle Tn. I asked the lady to look for a model number and she came up with "255NMY". This didn't make sense to me. She want's to sell the tractor and has been offered $2000. Appreciate any info on the machine and a guess on an appropriate sale price. Thanks. JD

Another site says that the S means Standard width, the N means Perkins diesel, and the M means 2 stage clutch. It doesn't say what the Y means.

Her tractor is a 25 SNMY made in France. You can get more info about this tractor by using the Search to look for "SNMY" in this forum.
