new ring gear, rebuilt starter and (3rd) nose cone, new carb kit, wires, cap rotor ect, takes long time start then will not idle, almost like no fuel, neither seems to think not enough spark, looking for a generic wiring set up for key starter switch, alternator, coil, resistor ect thank you

Pull off a plug wire and have someone crank the engine while you hold it 1/4 inch from a headbolt. It should jump at least that, 3/8 is better. If spark is weak check coil, voltage to coil. Points set right? coil wire good?

Check to see that the wires are on the coil right. By that I mean perhaps the wires are on the wron g poles of the coil this will cause an engine to run crummy as if the carb is way out of wack. Also how much compression do you have?
