Hello all,
I have a MF 65 that I currently use with a rear scrape blad to push snow. I have lined up an old truck snow plow, frame, etc. and I would like to try and mount it on the front of my 65. Can I just bolt it to the cultivator mounts, or do I have to run supports back to the rear axle? Any tips, suggestions, or things to watch out for? And what about hydraulics? I have and auxillary port on the 3-pt pump, and it is slow, but would it be enough pressure to raise and turn the blade?
Thanks for your help.
-Chris

Should be fine, just have an aux. control for it. Some say run a supposrt to the rear, others say you dont have to, but just for safety reasons I'd rather add some weight and run something to the rear. You never know what might be covered in the snow, and it just may hurt you. By the way- How come you're first doing this now? today in WI it's about 55-60 deg. outside. Now if that don't get you itchin for summer again....
Good luck
Donovan from Wisconsin.

Thanks for your reply, Don.
I have seen other plows and people have always said to support it in the rear too. You're right, it's about 65 degrees here today, just made some cheeseburgers on the grill for lunch, definitely near spring! I figure if I'm ready for 2ft of snow next year, it won't come.
Thanks for your help,
-Chris
