Need help to adjust rear axle hub on MH33

I'd like to adjust one of the rear axle hubs on my 33 to even up the wheels but it hasn't been moved in decades. Any tips on getting these free? One suggestion was to use a bottle jack on the end of the axle with a chain through two of the wheel bolt holes but with my luck I would probably break the hub. I tried heat and penetrating oil and driving with the bolts loose but it still hasn't moved.

Tripple check that the original spring clip around the axel isn't there. Most have been taken off & thrown away, but we've got two that have the rings on & at first they look like part of the hub... Almost broke a hub before I cleaned it up enough to see the hairline crack. It actually looked like it had been painted together. Patience is a virtue... and we used a 12 ton jack, 5 lb hammer, & heat on one before it moved at all. Had to drive it on & off for a couple hours before we got it all the way off... good luck - ALAN

HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY MH 44 I WANTED TO WIDEN THE AXLE... IT SEEMED THAT IT WAS THERE FOREVER... I HAD TO USE AIR HAMMER AND DO IT FOR LIKE 15 MINS AND THEN I HAD TO USE SLEDGE HAMMER IT FINALLY LET GO.. WHEW... BUT I DIDNT BREAK IT..I HAD TO DO IT BOTH SIDE TOO.. I GOT LUCKY... IF YOU HAVE NO CHOICE GO FOR SLEDGE HAMMER BUT BE SURE FIND SPARE HUB... MAYBE IT WILL BREAK MAYBE IT WONT , DONT HIT WHERE THE THREADS ARE WHERE THE 9 HOLES THAT BOLTS GOES IN JUST HIT ON TOP OF IT GO HIT BOTH SIDE... TAKES ALOT OF WORK BUT I GOT IT LOOSED UP ALL IN AN HOUR WORK , I DIDNT EVEN USE TORCH TO HEAT UP... MAYBE YOURS WAS BOLTED ON FOREVER... GOOD LUCK!

Same problem on my 33. Lots of lub then used a homemade wheel puller. Bolt up the wheel puller and every time put a little pressure on the hub and in time will come off.
