Hi

We (me and my brother) have just bought an MF 1135 tractor in the uk (hobby tractor). it was originally an irish tractor for powering a forage harvester. Just wanted some thoughts on it as there are a few problems with it. The hydraulic system works but not very well. Power steering orks but is lumpy, multipower works and the scv's pressure up but not been tested yet. The linkage does not work at all, any ideas?
The other thing is the pto clutch is dragging, the clutch can engaged byt the external lever by blipping the throttle but there is still a % of drive to the shaft when pto clutch disengaged. Again any ideas on PTO clutch adjustment?
The last thing is the cab is tatty inside, does anyone produce a cab lining kit for this tractor? I have to admit i really like this tractor, its gitted with a chrome straight through exhaust and sounds spot on. it can be seen at www.machinery.uk.com/MF1135.htm

remove the hydraulic filter in front the radiator and check for metal. if much metal is in the bottom if the filter housing, you may have major problems with rear end starting to put metal filings into the hydraulic oil. the three point lift may be a linkage out of adjustment problem which can be adjusted through a plate behind the drivers feet in the top of the lift housing. There are three different linkages for the lift. Pressure, position and draft. the pressure link must be right for any of the three to work. not simple.

Go to agriculture.com and then to machinery talk, there are some guys on that site that most likely can help you. 1135's are good tractors, still alot of them going strong in North America.
