I took your advice and changed the "Cold Starting Aid" on my MF 35 and that seems to have solved the problem. Your knowledge in invaluable and your willingness to share it is greatly appreciated.

Chip is that the preheater on the breather. Mine has not worked sinse I bought the 35 and am wondering where you got the replacement and does it make a big difference in cold starts. I have to plug mine in for a hour before I start and then its good. If not she won't go below 32 F.

Big Dean has helped me greatly over the past 2 months that I have been working on my M-H 50. He has probably forgotten more about these old Massey's than the rest of us ever thought we knew. Thanks again Big Dean. Tom
