I just purchase a MF-204, never own a tractor before and I am not familiar with tractorsyet. Help on a few basic questions would be greatly appreciated.
I want to change all the fluids to ensure clean/fresh fluids for the years to come but I am unsure what fluids to use, where they go, and how much to put in. I am going to purchase the manuals for this tractor, but I cannot do it right away.
Pictures of this tractor are at:>Link

1.) Does>Link this tractor have a REVERSE-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION? I guess what is call a Manual Shuttle, Instant Reverse? The tractor has two pedals on the right-hand side floor, push one it moves forward push the other one it moves backward, no shifting involved. Clarity on this would really be helpful.

2.) If it is a REVERSE-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION, what fluid do I need to use to replace the existing fluid? Where would the fill hole be and how do I know when it is full?

3.) From what I have read on this forum, this part of the transmission, if it is a REVERSE-O-MATIC TRANSMISSION, is separate from the Transmission/ Differential part of the Case, which uses different oil. Which I think is 80/90 Transmission/ Differential Mineral Oil?? Can I purchase the Tractor Transmission/ Differential oil that Wal-Mart sells for this part of the transmission? Would this oil be the mineral oil I need to use?

4.) The Hydraulic fluid used for Front End Loader/Backhoe is from the Loader Frame reservoir I think. Thus, replacing the Hyd. fluid in the loader frame would ensure the Loader/Backhoe fluid is clean is this right?

5.) Are there different filters for all these fluids? If so, where are they located?

Big Dean did sent me a couple of replies on these questions but it is still unclear in my mind.

Thanks So Much for any help/replies.
