I've been looking for a small tractor to use with boxblade and sometimes brush hog. Have been concentrating mainly on an 8n but the other day I saw a ferguson 30. Haven't seen it run but it is very good condition. How does it compare to the 8n and how is when it commes to finding parts. If anyone knows any history on this type tractor I would surely appreciate it. What would be a good price?

My understanding is that the TO-20 was built to compete with the 9N and they look very similar. I would say that a comparable price with a 9N in your area would be about right. Parts are readily available and is very comparable to 9N in capablity.
