Massey Ferguson MF60 Backhoe Hyd leak

I have purchased a 1981 mf60 backhoe and it has a hydraulic leak. The hydraulic fluid is leaking around the inspection plate under the torque converter, could it be the torque converter seal? How big of job am I in for? Can I remove the engine to fix or do I have to split it at the break module? PS: you don't have to be moving in gear, with it out of gear and working the hoe it leaks the hydraulic fluid Please help

Great Question.. I'd like to know the answer too. I have 1980 MF 60 and it leaks Hydraulic fluid most everywhere! It sure digs though.

I have just bought a mf 60 ti backhoe and would like to rebuild some of the hyd. cyls. Is there a parts book available?
