Just add ginger to the radiator as stop leak , this should fix it and won`t plug the rad.

KJM, are you saying add ginger only? Not any stop leak? How much? Thanks

If Ginger don't work, try Mary Anne.

Know guys who have done it. Like Rod said get the area super clean and no liquid around area to be patched. I use laquer thinner to clean stuff up good. Takes everything off.

I fixed my tractor that way you have to grind area clean and drain all water out also if you can park it on a side hill so any coolant will not seep out of the crack if will work area must be super clean I used brake cleaner to get it clean after I ground it off with a small dremel rotary tool.
regards
rod
