I am a new tractor buyer. I have never owned one and am looking for some advise. I want to do some work on my land. Mainly skidding logs and eventialy post hole diggers and the like. My main interest is a tractor small enough to get thru the woods, but big enough to lift a fair amount with the 3 point. Any ideas? I am leaning toward a Massey. Maybe a tea 2085, 135 or 175

I have a MF 135 that I use for exactly what you are talking about. I lift logs with a 3 point boom. It is an excellent woods tractor in dry weather. It is worthless in the snow without chains. This would probably hold true for any 2wd tractor. I just bought a 4wd for that reason.
