How much is a Massy Harris 81 worth??

Hi i am new to this site and not really a Massy Harris Guy(really an Allis Chalmers guy), so i really dont know anything about them. A good friend told me about an 81 he had, he said it runs good but has always smoked, but the sheet metal was rough. He wants $450 for it. How much is this tractor worth? Is it expensive to find parts for? I really dont know if i want to get into another tractor project as i have 2 more allis to fix up. Thank you,Don

Dear Don : I have two of them ; both standard models . I paid $800.00 Canadian for one and $550.00 Canadian for the other . Neither one is prefect, but, they both work . Canadian Dollar about .65 US at the present
time . I think that the Tractor is probably worth
$450.00 for the parts . Most parts off MH 20,22,Colt, and Mustang would likely fit .
81 and 20 the same Tractor with a different model
