MH Pony PTO

Can any one tell me if they have had any experience interchanging a PTO from a Pony to a BF Avery model V ? I have been told that they are the same transmission, and that the PTO's will work on either tractor. Is this true ? Thanks, Esev

I have one of each and they are identical. The only problem you will have is finding the pto assembly (they seem to be somewhat rare) and being able to afford it when you do!

Thats cheap! I would have probobly parted with a Franklin for one if I could have found one. Now the last 2 I've found have been $250 and $300!!
Too rich for this poor boy.
