H260 sleeves and H277 sleeves are not the same, the pistons are. I can provide [ in time ]a good used sleeve bored and fitted to a 4 1/16 M@W piston with a new O ring.

I've got a H 260 with a M&W 4 1/16 over bore kit in it already, Only problem is that in tearing the motor down for a rebuild one of the sleeves broke. So thats why I was wondering if it is possible to bore a stock sleeve to 4 1/16 or if I have to find another M&W sleeve.

The H260 and H277 are the same block. The size of the pistons are different. You can buy the 4-1/16 piston and linner kits to fit these engines.I found them on the net just can't remember which site it was. Will do some looking and get back to you.

Bruce,
If you have a place to buy pistons & sleeves, that actually has them in stock, please let me know. I betting they may list them, but probably don't have them available.

Thanks
Jeff
