He may have gone right with the restoration of this classic 444 Hi-Arch tractor. How do you sell
the Triple-4, looking stunning? My projects are all slowed with excuses, to renew the perfect in
detail, 444. Determined and stubborn to deliver
on the future admirers, the ultimate eye catcher,
the Massey-Harris 444 Hi-Arch. Dennis, Good luck,
hope the Purchaser respects this authentic Massey-
Harris.

The ad refers to "Anniversary Edition, with original anniversary edition colors". Just what is an aniversary model and anniversary of what? How do they differ from a reg 444?

David, I questioned that, too. But viewing the tractor seemed more important, since I wasn't about to purchase. M-H was 111 years old, perhaps
with a bland future, MF launched a farewell
anniversary to the best MHF era. Colors, only
Dennis can inform us. Imagine buying a mounted
combine for a MF 35 tractor:eat the dust all day
to save on two wheels and a simple frame. The
new MF product line, the 85,flail chopper, 88,
all vanished. R & D gone amok.

It ain't no beauty. Needs some fender work & lights. It is in the photo ads. Been sold twice now. Both fellers had some trouble with health & $. Ever have that happen to you? I bought a truck the day before I lost a job once. Can't fault the tractor for that though...
They are nice old machines. It has all the bells & whistles, except perfection- thats for the pros to figure out.

I was referring to the 444 posted on 13 January,
located in Arena,WI. This appears to be the real
Triple 4. Nice work, Dennis.

yep, I figured you was talkin 'bout that one. Ours ain't perfect. Just all there and recent paint, rebuilt a few years ago by the machinest what owned it. He built up the stainless steel muffler for it. Nice old machine. You perfectionist types would hate it. Someone tryin to do some work on a small place would love it. For the money some spend on 9Ns they could have a real tractor- but I ain't worried none about sellin it. It will sell itself. Mike D

Lovely tractor I must agree with you there. You know, I could never figure out guys who advertise something for sale (whether it be parts or a whole tractor) and don't post the asking price. I mean, is it a secret? No more of a secret that saying it has new tires or a rebuilt engine. I think by posting a price you are at least keeping away the tirekickers who are only curious as to what the asking price is. By the way, did you find out the asking price, I'm dying to know.
